First you have to know, that the tables at the buttom of most dashboards are not a "visualize" component but a "discover" component. Discover components are not updated automatically in the dashboard, if you change it you have to add it again to the dashboard. So follow this procedure
- change the "Discover" component on the dashboard by selecting "Edit" and "Add", "Saved Searches"
- check, whether the component has been added at the very buttom of the dashbaord
- delete the old component
- adjust the new component in size or move it
