First you have to know, that the tables at the buttom of most dashboards are not a "visualize" component but a "discover" component. Discover components are not updated automatically in the dashboard, if you change it you have to add it again to the dashboard. So follow this procedure
  1. change the "Discover" component on the dashboard by selecting "Edit" and "Add", "Saved Searches"
  2. check, whether the component has been added at the very buttom of the dashbaord
  3. delete the old component
  4. adjust the new component in size or move it
